Welcome to Witchonomics

Witchonomics started with a simple wish: a daily companion that feels a little magical but is built on real things. The Moon and planets are where they really are. The tarot deck is the classic 1909 one. The plants come with proper growing notes and honest safety information.

What you will find inside

• The sky. Pick a place and a moment and see the sky as it really looked or looks. Your birth sky shows the heavens over your birth city on the day you were born.
• A horoscope for today. Written from the real position of the Moon and planets for each of the twelve signs, with a monthly one too.
• Tarot. A card for the day and the classic spreads, each card with its picture and a short meaning.
• Your familiar. A guide animal chosen from your birth sky, with a portrait, strengths and a shadow side.
• The Apothecary. A growing library of herbs and garden plants with photos, growing and kitchen notes, and clear safety information.
• My Garden, My Pantry and My Journal. Keep track of what you grow, what you own, and everything you want to keep.
• The Depot. A small shop for plants, seeds, herbs, books and, soon, our own Witchonomics merch, as sellers join us.

What is free

A great deal. The horoscope, the Sky, every tarot spread, your familiar, the herb library and a small journal and garden are free. Plus and Premium add the fuller stories, a bigger garden and pantry, Plant ID and more. You can see exactly what each plan includes on the pricing page.

How we write it

We write the horoscopes, tarot text and plant pages ourselves. We build them on real astronomy and on garden knowledge, and we are plain about what is and is not known. Plants are a serious subject. Some are poisonous, and an app can be wrong, so every plant page carries its safety notes and we never suggest eating or using a plant because of a photograph.

Everything here is for reflection and entertainment. It is not a prediction, and it is not advice about your health, money or relationships.

Come and look around

The quickest way to see what we mean is to open the app and look at your own sky. It takes under a minute, and there is no card to enter. Open the app or start with today's horoscope.
