Weekend craft: Label a spice shelf in style

Here is something to make this weekend: label a spice shelf in style. Plan on about 20 minutes.

You will need

• small jars
• kraft paper labels
• a fine pen

How to do it

1. Decant dried herbs and spices into the jars.
2. Write each name and the date you bought it.
3. Stick the labels on and line the jars up in alphabetical order.

A tip

Dried herbs lose their flavour in about a year, so the date helps.
